Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly, part-time Store Associate to assist customers in selecting and purchasing items, operate and maintain a cash register, and balance the drawer at shift end.

Responsibilities include handling cash, printing receipts, and processing bank deposits, keeping shelves neat, answering phones politely, responding to donation inquiries, and ensuring the security of merchandise and the register area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred and retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Operate and maintain a cash register; collect monies, count change, and balance the cash register drawer and print routine register print-outs; prepare receipts.
• Respond to customers questions and assist customers who are donating items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays; secure merchandise and the cash register area.
