Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers to provide an outstanding shopping experience.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand the POS system and handle various tender types (cash, checks, credit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow company policies on cash handling and loss prevention; adhere to restricted sale item guidelines (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to safety and food safety regulations; participate in safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
