Job summary

Olive & Finch Collective in Denver is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Cashier to deliver outstanding guest service and accurate POS and cash handling. As a Crew Level 2 team member, you will ring in orders, process payments, sell gift cards, and maintain cash drawer accuracy while collaborating with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier, POS, or money-handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage cash accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform all FOH Crew responsibilities.
• Ring in orders into the POS system and process payments (cash, card, gift card, etc.).
• Open, balance, and close cash drawers per procedures.
• Reconcile cash at end of shifts and report discrepancies.
• Sell gift cards and manage inventory as directed by management.
• Maintain accuracy in all transactions and protect company funds.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and address guest concerns.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service and uphold brand standards.
