Job summary

LPQ USA LLC is hiring for a hospitality team member in Los Angeles. You will provide friendly service, anticipate guest needs, and handle in‑house and to‑go orders with a focus on warmth and efficiency. The role includes drinks prep, pastry display maintenance, and daily operations support.

Experience is welcome (1–3 months) with POS systems, especially Toast. Flexible scheduling and cross-training across dining room and retail spaces are highly valued in a welcoming team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast a plus.
• Flexible schedule preferred.
• Able to be cross-trained in dining room and retail space.
• Must speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to‑go food and pastry.
• Process sales transactions per cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry display throughout the day.
• Know pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and elevate to a manager when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Keep all areas clean and organized per cleaning checklists.
• Answer the phone with proper etiquette and take orders over the phone.
