Omni Hotels & Resorts in New Orleans is seeking a courteous Valet Parking Attendant to greet guests on arrival and departure and to park or retrieve vehicles safely. You will verify tickets, assist with luggage, and maintain a clean, secure garage environment while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid LA Driver License.
• Must be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and with manual transmission.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests upon arrival/departure in a prompt, courteous, friendly and professional manner; offer a warm welcome to our hotel or bid a fond farewell by thanking them for staying with us.
• Inspect guest cars for visible exterior or interior damage; notify supervisor immediately.
• Park or retrieve guest cars in a prompt manner adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure all guests receive car tickets to identify their vehicle and for correct billing.
• Offer assistance including luggage or providing directions such as to hotel lobby. Communicate to Guest Services specific guests needs.
• Follow procedures when utilizing hotel equipment (man lift, etc.)
• Always follow Safe and Clean guidelines such as wearing face masks and social distancing measures.
• Monitor garage area for safety conditions and contact Loss Prevention if necessary.
• Report accidents involving guests’ vehicles immediately to supervisor, Director of Rooms and Loss Prevention.
• Maintain cleanliness of garage area; notify housekeeping of overflowing trashcans.
• Complete parking garage forms.
• Perform cash handling and credit card procedures when necessary.
• Perform any other duties related to successful operations of the department as requested by management.
• Greet all guests in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
