Job summary

Omni Hotels in New Orleans is seeking a courteous valet attendant to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and provide assistance with luggage and directions. You will ensure safety, manage tickets, and uphold hotel standards while delivering exceptional guest service.

This on-site role requires a valid Louisiana driver license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cash handling and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 2 years.
• Valid LA Driver License.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic English understood to communicate with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival/departure in a prompt, courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Inspect guest cars for exterior or interior damage and notify supervisor.
• Park or retrieve vehicles safely, following safety standards.
• Provide guests with car tickets for identification and billing.
• Assist with luggage and directions as needed; communicate guests' needs to Guest Services.
• Follow procedures when using hotel equipment and maintain safety guidelines.
• Monitor garage area for safety; report issues to Loss Prevention as needed.
• Report accidents involving guests’ vehicles immediately and notify appropriate parties.
• Keep garage area clean and free of litter; coordinate with housekeeping for trash disposal.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions when necessary.
• Perform any other duties to support department operations.
