Job summary

Denny's in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Server to greet guests, seat them, take and deliver orders, and ensure a courteous dining experience. You will respond to guest concerns, assist with seating, upsell, and handle payments with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include delivering timely service, entering orders into the POS, maintaining clean tables, and supporting team members throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout a shift of 4 to 8 hours.
• Must be able to observe and differentiate monetary denominations.
• Must be able to operate a point of sale system.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Take and deliver orders; enter orders on the POS system.
• Respond to guest concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Deliver food and beverage orders timely and in accordance with standards.
• Handle payments and process cash, credit card, and discounts.
• Assist other service personnel and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Attend to guest during the entire dining experience and upsell where appropriate.
