Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a friendly Restaurant Server to deliver polished dining experiences and memorable moments for guests. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, present checks, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Clear, friendly, and professional verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast paced restaurant environment.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail while committing to service standards.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience or training required.
• High volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic cash-handling.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Present checks promptly and process payments accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages according to service standards and perform quality checks.
• Coordinate timing of courses with the kitchen to maintain smooth pacing.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work and assist teammates as needed.
• Support bar or host staff during peak periods when appropriate.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about menu changes and priorities.
• Maintain a high level of positive interaction with coworkers and guests.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Answer menu questions confidently and offer recommendations.
