Qualifications

• 6+ months prep cook or production cook experience in a commercial kitchen is required.
• ServSafe Certification and California Food Handler card must be obtained within 30 days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, provides expertise and assistance in the Kitchen + Deli departments.
• Prepares and cooks all kitchen menu items following Bi-Rite standards.
• Maintains item availability to create displays.
• Keeps department displays neat, clean, labeled, and well-stocked.
• Puts away inventory with proper rotation and labeling; handles perishable items safely.
• Handles damaged, out-of-date, and returned products to department standards.
