Job summary

Super Panga is seeking motivated Food Runners to join our restaurant and bar team. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, helping ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities include prompt delivery, proper presentation, and clear communication with staff. Candidates must hold or obtain a California Food Handler Certificate and be able to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants under 18 may be required to provide a valid school work permit
• Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handler Certificate before training
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Competent to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including frequent overhead lifting
• Capable to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
• Clear communication skills and a guest-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver food orders promptly and accurately to guests
• Ensure dishes are presented correctly and consistently, meeting restaurant quality standards
• Communicate guest requests and special instructions clearly to servers and kitchen staff
• Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed to support smooth and timely service
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to keep the service areas organized and ready for the next shift
• Anticipate needs during service to help create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests
• Maintain all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines
