Job summary

Aramark is seeking a cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and balance cash with accuracy. You will maintain cleanliness and assist guests, while following cash handling policies and safety procedures.

The role requires basic math skills, prior cash handling or customer service experience, and the ability to work independently. Training in Food Handling and Alcohol Service may be required by location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer; complete cashier slip and deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned per unit hours.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment during and after service.
• Ensure items are stocked and replenished to appropriate levels.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
