Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cashier to greet guests, process transactions, balance cash, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will operate a register/POS, assist customers, and support store operations while following cash handling policies.

Qualifications include basic math, prior customer service and cash handling preferred, with the ability to work independently. The role may require uniforms and PPE as applicable by location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Understand product merchandise and accurately process transactions.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at end of shift.
• Ensure location items are stocked and replenished as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
