Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage customers in-store.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately at the checkout.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers.
• Follow company policy on cash handling and loss prevention.
• Adhere to age-restricted item policies (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Maintain safety and food safety guidelines.
• Ensure a welcoming store environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
