Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout.
• Record items at correct prices in the correct department.
• Verify identification for beer and wine purchases (where applicable).
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash/over‑short records.
• Assist in bagging orders and ensure nothing is left behind at checkout.
• Communicate problems or discrepancies to the customer service manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the checkout area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
