Job summary

Panera Bread in Omaha is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality. You’ll greet guests, assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, and contribute to a welcoming bakery-cafe atmosphere.

You’ll move between production, prep, service, cashier, and barista tasks as needed, keep areas clean and safe, and support the team with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy making guests smile.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Card required by law.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for areas within the bakery-cafe (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.).
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Stay on the move, assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following safety and cleaning protocols.
• Be informed about daily priorities and adapt with a positive attitude.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
