Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Security Officer in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves patrolling all areas of the property, monitoring alarms and cameras, and providing top-tier guest and team member service.

You will act as a first responder in emergencies, handle gaming drops, and document incidents with clear reports. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service experience, and training in safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor all areas of the property including exterior.
• Monitor alarm systems and surveillance cameras.
• Provide guest and employee service and resolve issues.
• Act as first responder in emergencies and administer basic first aid.
• Handle gaming drops/transactions and security reporting.
• Write reports on daily activities and incidents.
• Relay information to appropriate personnel via radio/phone.
• Assist in securing scenes and coordinating evacuations when needed.
• Complete mandatory training including legal, defensive tactics, and first aid.
