Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Team Member for Warner Robins, GA. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare items, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced setting.

Operate Aloha or Micros POS, handle cash, upsell politely, and maintain cleanliness to meet health standards. Training is provided for those new to food service, with a focus on teamwork and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are important.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices preferred.
• Experience in customer service within food industry or retail helps you succeed.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication to interact with team members and guests from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate POS systems like Aloha and Micros to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours.
• Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and friendliness.
