Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a part-time Team Member to be the face of the brand, delivering friendly service and great sandwiches. You will prepare items, handle cash, and operate POS systems while maintaining cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha or Micros) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations are important.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is preferred.
• Experience in customer service roles within food industry or retail helps you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items following recipes and quality standards.
• Operate POS systems to process orders and handle cash transactions.
• Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and dining areas per health regulations.
• Assist with food safety practices, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Support team by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth flow during busy hours.
• Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly while maintaining high standards.
