Job summary

The Meadows at Middlesex in Plainsboro, NJ is seeking a Pro Shop Attendant to join Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality. The role includes handling reservations, guest check-in, shop displays, and POS transactions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees and process in the POS system as trained.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at closing.
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf carts.
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager.
• Welcome and greet guests and players in a friendly manner.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups when needed.
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet; maintain storage areas and practice facility.
• Assist with setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for tee times or outings.
• Facilitate orderly pace of play to prevent delays.
• Record starting times and golf cart numbers for groups when necessary.
• Ensure each group has four players if possible.
• Collect and clean practice balls as scheduled.
