Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver outstanding guest experiences through attentive service and menu knowledge. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a high level of hospitality in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities include taking and processing orders in the POS system, maintaining a clean service area, and collaborating with team members to meet guest expectations.

• Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Able to work as a team and independently.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with every customer, discovering needs and making recommendations.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or Hotel functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system.
• Maintain a presentable food display and make necessary additions/changes to food.
• Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and service area.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change.
• Teamwork -- Offer or ask for help to your fellow team members as situations arise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant as directed by the immediate supervisor.
