Job summary

Artemis Wax LLC in Bayside, NY is seeking a friendly Guest Service/Sales Associate for part-time hours at our location in NY - Bay Terrace. You will greet guests, explore skincare needs, explain wax pass options and promotions, and help with reservations and our retail line.

You will join a team that values energy, teamwork, and outstanding guest experiences. The role requires excellent communication, basic POS skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of related service or retail experience. Strongly prefer previous sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with guests.
• Can demonstrate proficiency in point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
• Ability to adapt to varying guest personalities and remain calm under pressure. Outstanding communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Proactively educate guests on all of our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly and prebooking. Being knowledgeable on all aspects of EWC including our retail line.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times. Addresses guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized and inviting front desk & lobby area, upholding the brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.
