Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center in downtown Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Van/Shuttle Driver to transport contracted airline staff to and from General Mitchell International Airport and other approved transports in the Milwaukee area. You will warmly welcome guests and maintain clean, fueled vans.

This role requires customer service experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to sit and drive for long periods, and the capacity to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• One or more years of customer service or guest service experience preferred.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Background Screening and possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be knowledgeable about the Greater Milwaukee Area and General Mitchell International Airport.
• Must have the ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs (e.g., luggage, boxes, other).
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely and securely transport guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey.
• Warmly welcome guests at the hotel's main entrance, setting a positive tone for their stay.
• Inspect the van for cleanliness before each trip, addressing issues such as snow removal, vacuuming, and trash disposal.
• Ensure vans are always fueled and ready for transport.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall guest experience.
