Job summary

Destination by Hyatt in Chapel Hill is seeking a Valet Attendant for The Carolina Inn. You will welcome guests, assist with loading and unloading, and safely relocate vehicles to designated parking locations while coordinating with guest services.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NC driver’s license, fluency in English, and a calm, service-oriented demeanor. The role requires standing for long periods and a flexible weekend/holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
• Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
• Provide legible communication and directions
• Valid NC Driver’s License
• Clean driving record, must have and maintain a clean record (no points on Driver's License)

Responsibilities

• Relocate guest vehicles safely and efficiently to designated parking locations.
• Escort arriving guests, provide basic hotel information and orientations to the guestrooms park and retrieve guest vehicles in an efficient and prompt matter.
• Coordinate with hotel guest services to ensure smooth arrival and departure experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent data.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
