Job summary

MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA is seeking a Visitor Experience Coordinator to support the Visitor Experience department with administrative tasks and frontline guest interactions. You will serve as an information hub, sharing details about exhibitions, programs, and local attractions to enhance visits.

Responsibilities include coordinating tours and events, developing outreach strategies, learning Tessitura, and assisting with ticketing and group bookings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service and cash handling experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Google Suite and comfort with computer programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact effectively with visitors.
• Outgoing, enthusiastic and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests and colleagues.
• Assist VE team in planning and coordinating tours and events, during and outside regular museum hours.
• Coordinate daily operations, edit and distribute materials, and support VE events.
• Develop outreach strategies to attract new visitors and re-engage audiences.
• Learn Tessitura operations to manage reservations and payments.
• Assist Box Office during concerts and festivals.
