Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warm, attentive service and high-quality food to guests. You will work in various areas of the bakery-cafe, engaging with guests, preparing items, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes genuine guest interactions, team collaboration, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is valued to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to clearly communicate in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and love making people smile.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handler training or willingness to obtain training.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Work across areas within the bakery-cafe (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.).
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Stay on the move, assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment by following food safety standards and cleaning protocols.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
