Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to provide warm and efficient service to guests in a fast-paced bakery-cafe. You will help with food prep, assembly and cashier tasks while maintaining clean, inviting spaces and following safety standards.

You’ll greet guests, support daily operations across multiple areas, and contribute to a positive, joyful dining experience with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to clearly communicate in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Focus on delivering comfort, connection and joy to guests.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and stay reliable.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food safety basics and training; Food Handler's Card may be required.
• Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service across bakery-cafe areas.
• Assist in production, prep, service, cashier, drive-thru, and barista tasks as needed.
• Assemble and prep salads, soups and sandwiches with care and accuracy.
• Move efficiently between entry, cashier and dining areas to help guests.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following food safety standards.
• Support team with stocking and setup for the next shift.
