Job summary

Jack in the Box is seeking a Team Member to deliver guest service across dine-in, drive-thru, and back-of-house tasks. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist in food prep and assembly, and ensure orders are accurate and presented well.

Applicants should be at least 16, able to manage a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly in English, and be a positive, team-oriented contributor. Compensation is Minimum Wage.

Qualifications

• Experience – Guest service or food cook/preparation experience helpful; comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must be at least 16 years old. Understands and communicates clearly in English, may require ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant.
• Physical Requirements - Stand/walk 90-95% of shift; lift 15-25 lbs; operate cash register; read video monitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take/clarify orders; assist guests with menu selection as appropriate.
• Enter order in POS system, collect money, and make change.
• Assemble orders with correct ingredients and portioning; ensure order accuracy and bag/present items properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of work area; perform duties in Front, Back of Restaurant as assigned.
