Job summary

Speed Art Museum in Kentucky seeks a Guest Experience Supervisor to support the Guest Experience Associate Director in daily operations. You will supervise, train, and coach Guest Experience Associates, ensuring a welcoming, high-quality visitor experience across the museum, tickets, donations, and merchandise transactions.

You will greet guests, answer questions, handle inquiries by phone and email, assist with volunteer programs, and uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or training experience preferred.
• Experience with ticketing systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train Guest Experience Associates on policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to staff.
• Handle guest service concerns and escalate as needed.
• Assist with admissions, ticketing, membership, merchandise, and donation transactions.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to volunteers.
