Job summary

Global Partners LP in North Canaan, CT is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor who will supervise staff, organize workflows, and ensure safe, efficient store operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, greeting guests, handling POS transactions and cash, maintaining cleanliness, stocking, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock area, register).
• Lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (cooler/outdoors).

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees ensuring they perform duties per management.
• Coach employees with constructive feedback.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate POS per corporate standards; manage cash levels.
• Ensure store housekeeping is maintained (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Support 24/7 guest service programs and processes.
• Handle cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards, checks where applicable.
• Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
