Job summary

Global Partners LP in Portland, ME is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive top-notch guest experience while supporting day-to-day store tasks and safety, security, and policy adherence.

You will greet guests, operate the POS, restock and maintain shelves, manage housekeeping, and coordinate with management on guest needs and vendor checks. Flexibility for day, night, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
