Job summary

RaceTrac in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Store Associate to help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Whether you want part-time flexibility or a full-time path, you’ll gain practical hospitality and retail skills in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock shelves, coolers, and display areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processes transactions, handles cash and card payments, and provides excellent guest service.
• Respond openly to feedback from guests, team members, and leaders, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance.
• Be a reliable team player by arriving on time for scheduled shifts, supporting teammates throughout their shift.
