Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You’ll help keep the store clean, stocked and running smoothly while delivering friendly service at the register or self-checkout.

This role offers part-time flexibility or a full-time opportunity, with training and growth potential in a team-based setting. We value initiative, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to management directions, and be flexible in all areas of the store.
• Prepares, handles, and serves food in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Willing and able to clean all areas of the store and follow safety procedures.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, and backrooms and coolers are clean and organized.
