Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate in Texas to help run busy stores with a guest-first mindset. You’ll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, providing friendly service at the register or self-checkout, restocking, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.

The role supports store goals with flexible scheduling—nights, weekends, and holidays—as well as on-the-job training and growth opportunities within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• May be required to obtain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out.
• Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great experience for guests.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
