Job summary

RaceTrac seeks a Store Associate to join our fast-paced, guest-focused team. You’ll keep stores clean, stocked and running smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience at the register or self-checkout. Flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, supports part-time or full-time paths and promotes from within through hands-on training.

We value teamwork, initiative, and adaptability as you help drive guest satisfaction and store performance in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.

Responsibilities

• Delivering an Exceptional Guest Experience.
• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Help Keep Our Stores Stocked & Fresh and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
