Job summary

Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, AR seeks a part-time Guest Services Associate to welcome guests, sell tickets and memberships, and promote the museum experience. The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and a friendly, proactive attitude.

Daytime shifts (15–20 hours/week) between 8am–6pm, with responsibilities including assist with events, safety procedures, and store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED or working towards one
• Good command of general computer applications and basic math skills
• Punctual and attentive to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to Amazeum guests, members, and staff in-person and by phone
• Welcomes guests and informs them about museum experiences and programs
• Operates ticketing system to sell admission and memberships
• Process cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately and balance drawer
• Promote memberships and handle membership issues including renewals and lost cards
• Assist with lost and found, injuries, and lost guests procedures
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of workstations and ticketing areas
• Support store, Curiosity Corner, and event setup as needed
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth operations during peak times
