Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Kittery, ME is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for guests at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and Navy Lodge properties. You will handle reservations, check-in/out, payments, and guest requests while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.

You will operate the Property Management System, coordinate with lodging staff, ensure lobby cleanliness and security of guest information, and assist with breakfast setup.

Qualifications

• One year general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations and guest check-in/out.
• Answer guest questions about lodging facilities and local attractions.
• Process reservations, payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain lobby appearance and ensure security of guest information.
• Operate the Property Management System to modify reservations.
• Assist with breakfast service setup and cleanliness.
• Maintain records of keys, guest accounts, and deposits.
• Support other front desk staff and report issues to supervisor.
