Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience. You will operate the point of sale, maintain cash levels, and stock shelves, while upholding safety, security, quality, and store policies.

This role requires flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, basic computer use, reliable transportation, and the stamina to work in various temperatures.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale following corporate standards and manage cash/lottery/tobacco levels.
• Maintain store policies on safety, security, quality and operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
