Job summary

Buff City Soap Northern in Rochester Hills, MI seeks a Team Member to deliver exceptional guest service, assist in product preparation, and contribute to a clean, welcoming store environment.

You will learn handmade, plant-based products, help guests find items they love, and support daily operations, including evening and weekend shifts. This role offers flexible hours in a fast-paced, team-driven setting with a strong emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be team oriented, self-motivated, and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by building relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
• Become an expert in the products that are made at the store and be able to make recommendations.
• Ability to help drive sales through service.
• Greeting guests (whether new or returning) every time they visit the store.
• Ability to multi-task with making products and greeting/assisting guests as they shop and purchase.
• Assisting in maintaining cleanliness of the store, including the production and retail areas.
• Ability to work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced environment, upholding all company policies, procedures, and core values.
• Follow all safety guidelines for working with lye, raw materials, and equipment.
