Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group in Kansas is seeking a Server to create memorable guest experiences by serving food and drinks and attending to guests' needs. You’ll be part of a fun, family atmosphere and help make guests feel welcome.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and relaying orders via POS, delivering meals, assisting with payments, and maintaining a clean dining area. This role requires mobility, basic math and communication skills; Thrive is an Equal Opportunity Employer;

Qualifications

• Ability to greet guests and make recommendations regarding food and drink.
• Mobility to move around the dining area and service stations.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills required for orders and payments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and handle kitchen/service area tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with guests, creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the POS system.
• Observe and serve guests, addressing needs or requests.
• Present guest checks and facilitate payment; process charges and tips.
• Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables.
