Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza Hut is seeking a friendly, guest-focused server to own the dine-in guest experience from greeting to goodbye in a fast-paced environment. You will take orders, deliver food and drinks, and handle payments while keeping the dining area welcoming.

This part-time role offers flexible shifts, opportunities to earn tips, and room for growth into leadership positions as you gain experience and contribute to a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age to sell and serve alcohol in Texas (18+)
• Friendly, guest-first attitude and clear communication
• Ability to stay organized and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Texas Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Texas Seller-Server certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
• Experience with restaurant POS system (preferred)
• 6+ months of serving, hosting, or customer-facing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly within moments of seating and setting a friendly tone for the visit
• Presenting the menu, explaining promotions, and suggesting add-ons
• Taking accurate orders, including allergens, and entering them into the POS
• Delivering food and drinks promptly and checking back for satisfaction
• Resolving minor guest concerns on the spot or escalating to leadership
• Processing payments accurately (cash, card, digital) and following cash-handling procedures
• Managing multiple tables while keeping ticket times on standard
• Coordinating with kitchen and carryout teams to ensure complete, correct, and hot orders
• Setting, clearing, and resetting tables quickly for the next guest
• Maintaining cleanliness of dining room, restrooms, and service stations
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
• Completing opening, shift-change, and closing side work
• Supporting teammates in other areas as needed
