Job summary

Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team in Lake Geneva, WI. You will tailor the guest dining experience, take orders, input into POS, and ensure timely, courteous service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 18+, and possess excellent communication and hospitality skills. Flexible availability, ability to lift 30 lbs, and prior service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 18 years old to be able to serve alcohol.
• Prior service experience is preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Service-oriented with the ability to take direction.
• Strong communication and hospitality mindset.
• Ability to build relationships with management, staff, and guests.
• Able to lift and transport trays up to 30 lbs and stand for a full shift.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Understand the menu, ingredients, and preparation.
• Record and input guest orders into the POS system.
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process payments, thank guests, and invite return visits.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks, restocking condiments.
• Maintain accurate self-banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
