Job summary

Aramark in Socorro, NM is seeking a Wait Staff - Server for New Mexico Tech. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a positive guest experience while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous server or food service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverages to guests per orders or banquet menu.
• Keeps knowledge of menu items and offerings.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas during events.
• Replenishes food and beverage products.
• Adheres to alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking IDs.
• Provides excellent customer service and anticipates guests’ needs.
• Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes service areas, workstations and equipment.
• Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
• Follows Aramark safety policies including food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.
