Job summary

Daily Grill Concepts in Palm Desert, CA seeks friendly, hospitality-focused team members to deliver standout guest experiences across our restaurants. You will assist servers, engage guests with menu knowledge, upsell beverages and desserts, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room.

Open availability including weekends and holidays is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and the opportunity to grow within the company as part of a supportive dining team.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Positive and Professional Attitude.
• Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must present a Food Handlers card and Responsible Alcohol Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist for 4-12 hours/day.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Providing hospitality focused service, with an emphasis on guests have a great experience
• Problem solving and following the “LAST” (listen, apologize, solve, thank) mind set to handle guest concerns
• Following all health and safety protocols, and being “health department ready” at all times
• Completing sidework and running side work throughout the shift to set the team up for success
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with fellow team members, with a heavy teamwork focus.
• Enhance the guest experience by providing elevated service including a menu tour, upselling beverages, appetizers, and dessert
• Practice proper table maintenance and work with a sense of urgency
• Gain a strong knowledge of our food and beverage offerings
