Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly Server to welcome guests and deliver memorable dining experiences at our Applebee's location in Spearfish. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests' needs are met with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, relaying orders to the kitchen and bar, presenting checks, handling payments, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system.
• Observe and serve guests responding to any needs or requests.
• Present guest checks to each table and facilitates payment.
• Participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables.
