Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a hospitality-focused Server to welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with outstanding guest service. You will work with a team to ensure smooth dining operations, uphold brand standards, and deliver a memorable experience to hotel guests.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays, with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months customer service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills; must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.
• Maintain proactive guest service throughout service periods.
• Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess).
• Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel and restaurant guests and staff.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with standards and in a professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition; adhere to brand standards.
