Job summary

Yesway is seeking a friendly store associate to ensure hospitality for guests, handle transactions, stock merchandise, and maintain cleanliness while upholding Yesway standards. You will assist with prepared foods under supervision and help keep the store organized and inviting.

The role requires successful completion of required certification testing upon employment and may involve background checks depending on location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

• Certification: Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.
• All offers of employment are subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by ensuring timely guest transactions, facilities/store cleanliness, and implementation of Yesway standards.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure the proper placement, pricing and stocking of merchandise in the store.
• Process sales transactions, using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare cooked foods as directed by Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Maintains shelves, counter, floor, glass and equipment following store maintenance schedule.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, block shelves, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-box; and
• Other duties as assigned.
