Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Store Associate to be at the heart of the guest experience, helping keep our stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly. You’ll deliver friendly service at the register or self-checkout and promote additional items to guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to management directions and work across store areas.
• Prepares, handles, and serves food in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and organized food service area and adheres to food safety regulations.
• Operates the cash register accurately and processes transactions.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and store areas are clean and welcoming.
• Act as first point of contact for guest concerns and elevate issues as needed.
• Inform guests about promotional food items to drive product engagement.
