Job summary

Global Partners LP in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Guest Service Associate to drive a top-tier guest experience and support all store-level tasks. This role emphasizes customer service, POS operations, inventory checks, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping and replenish products to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
