Job summary

Long Lewis Auto Group in Decatur, AL seeks a courteous Porter and Greeter to welcome guests, help with vehicle handling, and support dealership operations. This front-line role creates a great first impression and keeps daily flow smooth both inside and outside the showroom.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, directing them to the right dept, moving and parking vehicles, keeping drives and waiting areas clean, assisting with service returns, and handling light administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year administrative or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and coworkers in a polite, helpful manner.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate department or team member.
• Move and park customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Keep the service drive, lot, and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
• Assist with vehicle retrieval when service is complete.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Occasionally answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner and assist with basic inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Support team members with light administrative or clerical tasks as needed.
