Job summary

Castle Hill YMCA in Bronx, NY is seeking a Part-Time Member Experience Representative I to greet guests, assist members, and manage inquiries at the branch. This role focuses on delivering a welcoming, professional experience in person and by phone.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, 2–3 years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, contributing to a positive, supportive YMCA environment at our Bronx location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor\'s coursework preferred.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors to the branch.
• Provide a positive experience in person and over the telephone.
• Answer calls with the YMCA greeting.
• Offer tours of the facility.
• De-escalate situations according to Y standards.
• Assist members with membership inquiries and program registrations.
• Process transactions and reconcile end-of-shift cash reports.
